I am finally bringing my website up to date. Please have a little patience.
The update has started with my Engagements, so please have a look.
I've been working hard at singing and teaching this past year and have had some great experiences in both catagories.
My song rectials have concetrated on more American music recitals and have enjoyed great enthusiastic audiences. My favorite piece was Samuel Barber's Knoxville: Summer of 1915. It is just lovely and fits my voice to a T. I've also had great fun with English composers like Britten and the William Walton Walton's songs for soprano are a gas and look forward to doing them again next year.
Besides singing American and English songs I'm working on Richard Strauss, Hugo Wolf, Johannes Brahms and Franz Schubert, just to name a few.
My Jazz Demo CD will be finished this year and I hope to get that out to all who'd like one for before Christmas.
My teaching at the University in Mainz is winding down and my private teaching is continuing to grow. My students are very eager and are making great progress.
That is all for now. Please have a look at my current engagements and any other page that might interest you.
By the way, the recording you hear on my home page is from the aria "Sempre
libera" from Verdi's LA TRAVIATA with the Korean Broadcasting Symphony
Orchestra.
